Montana-based adventure-hospitality company announced under Canvas on Tuesday that it will open two glamping locations in the Northeast in 2020: the Hudson Valley, NY, and near Acadia National Park in Surry, Maine. For a location near Acadia, about a 35-minute drive from the park, the company plans to 75 luxury tents in 100 acres of water with over 1,200 feet of coastline.The tents will include West Elm furniture, king size bed, luxurious linens, wood burning stove, hot running water, ensuite bathrooms with showers, sinks, and flushing toilets, USB charging packs, and daily care.
Tent styles include the "Stargazer," which sleeps two, has a private deck, and features a viewing window that is perfect for staging above the size of king bed. , and the "Suite Tent," which sleeps four, has a private deck and a wing of a king-size bedroom and lounge complete with queen size.
