The singer came to Instagram to announce that she will be hosting a show on October 24 with HER as a musical guest: “I’m so excited about this!”
Adele is returning to Saturday Night Live stage, but not as a musical guest.
The long-running NBC sketch comedy show announced on Sunday (October 18) that the 15-time Grammy winner will host an October 24 show, with HIM as the musical guest.
The “Water Under the Bridge”; singer immediately shared her excitement with her upcoming hosting roles.
“Bloooooody hellllll I’m so happy here !! And really terrified too!” he exclaimed in an Instagram post showing the air date with his name and pinned him to a corkboard. “I always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so I could put on my sleeve and throw myself all over it, but the time was not right. But if there was time for any of us to jump in first deep end that closes and hopes for the best in 2020 right? “
The famous singer added that his role as host came almost 12 years on the day of his first SNL appearance, which helped launch his career in the United States. “It feels like a whole circle and I can’t say no!” he shares. “Except for myself that HE will be the musical guest !! I love him so much I can’t wait to melt into a blazing hot mess when he performs, then confuse myself as I laugh at my ass in the midst of it all. “
HER, who released his latest song “Do to Me” in July, also shared news about his upcoming appearance on an Instagram Story by re-sharing the SNL post.
