Spartanburg, South Carolina (WGR 550) – The Buffalo Bills and Carolina The Panthers wrapped up their second and final joint training session Wednesday at Wofford College, and like their first practice on Tuesday, it was lively and competitive without any fisticuffs or other fights we saw in these situations around the league. That has made it a very productive day for both squads.

Here are some notes and observations from practice:

  • Both offenses seem to get better on every defense during the 11-on-11 phase, which happens simultaneously side by side. in two fields. There's a stretch where Panthers quarterback Cam Newton doesn't seem to miss him. He did a great job of moving the Carolina offense down the field pretty quickly and efficiently.
  • Next to that Josh Allen makes similar kind of throws and plays to get the Bills off the field. I admire Allen's ability to spot and assess the defense, then get rid of the ball quickly and target. He took what the defense gave him and acknowledged what was before the snap.
  • The first-team offensive line has undergone some changes, but this is because Ty Nsekhe has not participated in any team action. He took part in individual positional drills, but then remained on the sidelines the remaining practice. He is alone and does not include any trainers, which is clearly encouraging. Outside of Nsekhe, here's how the offensive line finds both first and second units:
    • First line offensive line
      • LT – Dion Dawkins
      • LG – Quinton Spain
      • C – Jon Feliciano
      • RG – Spencer Long
      • RT – Cody Ford
    • Second line of offensive line
      • LT – D & # 39; Ondre Wesley [19659006] LG – Wyatt Teller
      • C – Ryan Bates
      • RG – Ike Boettger
      • RT – Jarron Jones and Garrett McGhin
  • Cornerback Kevin Nag- Johnson rounded out the team's first defense with Levi Wallace and Tre & Dav's White. It can be very simple to keep the boys fresh in the intense heat. Captain Munnerlyn worked in the space with those of Taron Johnson.
  • Wide receiver Robert Foster received a healthy dose of reps along with first-team offense, including John Brown, Cole Beasley, Zay Jones, and Andre Roberts. Isiah McKenzie and Ray-Ray McCloud also saw time together.

Up next:

The Bills will have a walk-through (without public or media access) on Thursday in Spartanburg before a shutout in Charlotte, North Carolina to prepare for their preseason game Friday night against the Panthers .
