Hopefully Peril comes next in the Gorgon DLC
The Outer Worlds Switch has sparked a lot of talk about whether some sacrifices are worth making when porting a game to weaker hardware. For those who play it on PC, PS4, or Xbox One, this is a dramatic drop for sure. For me, that I did not play it on more powerful systems, I found it decent enough.
It looks rough and frustratingly barren, but could change later this month when the long-awaited patch is released on the Switch. The full patch note is being suppressed so far, but the game’s Twitter page has decided to give us a peek at how the visuals will improve with the download.
The Board is excited to announce that employees on the Nintendo Switch platform can expect to see a patch reach their device on October 21st!
We are also recruiting new employees to join us at Halcyon Colony, so get ready to take advantage of a Switch sale on October 22nd! pic.twitter.com/1efUFBNWsv
