The Marvel Cinematic Universe boasts a deep bench of talent. On the roster is Mark Ruffalo, who scored the role of Bruce Banner, aka Hulk. He debuted as a hero in the 2012 film, The avengers, and remain part of the franchise. But Ruffalo confessed that before he became a megastar, he enjoyed a life of leisure with the help of the sun, surf, and pottery.

Ruffalo gave Variety an interview and revealed some well-known details about his life and mindset before launching his acting career. He told the outlet, “I live in San Diego and usually just surf, and smoking weeds and everywhere really fast.”
A-lister also revealed his experience with a learning disability, his love of dramatic art, and his early skepticism about his inevitable success. But despite her uncertainty, she took the advice of a friend and went to audition at Stella Adler Studio of Acting in Los Angeles.
“Someone told me that I should study there, so because of my desperation and secret desire to be an actress, I boarded a train for an interview with my teacher Joanne Linville,” he said. Ruffalo.
“Here I am, this kid from Kenosha, Wisconsin, who is not mentally retarded, is almost unreadable, I barely finished high school, and I went in, and I talked to Joanne,” Ruffalo explained. “He interviewed me for like 10 minutes. He was like, ‘You belong here, dear.’ I never told myself where I belonged. I had never been excited about studying my whole life when I began that journey. “

Ruffalo has repeatedly decorated the silver screen as Hulk in MCU, a multi-billion dollar feature film franchise. Looking back on his early days as an actor, Ruffalo admitted that he could not imagine himself in a bigger role than life.
“We had this little theater, and that was my dream come true,” Ruffalo recalled. “We do, like, 10 plays a year on Santa Monica Boulevard. I barricade, but as sht tty of the day, when I walk to the theater, I’m in heaven. When I met Sunrise [Ruffalo’s wife], and he was like, ‘I think you can shoot a little. I think you can expand what you think you are capable of. ‘”

While chatting with Variety, Ruffalo shared a few words of wisdom for aspiring actors who may not be as confident as younger Ruffalo. Instead of “just surfing and smoking to get rid of it,” the actor suggested calling it self-confidence.
Ruffalo advised, “Say to a small part of yourself, ‘Listen, you son of ab * tch. I know you are there, but you do not control me. I want to live my dreams, and I will do a step towards them. And the road will meet me there. ‘”
As successful as Ruffalo has been, he remains grounded. “I just remember to say thank you because I still can’t believe it,” he admitted. “I kept thinking, ‘They’ll throw me out of the club. I didn’t own it at first, and they’ll all know.'”
From the perspective of a movie buff, Ruffalo is exactly where he should be – in the spotlight. With a series of hits on his resume and many projects on the horizon, it turns out Ruffalo is there to stay.
