Bellator 225: airs of Mitrione vs. Kharitonov 2 ”is TONIGHT (Saturday, August 24, 2019) from Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn., Airing on the Paramount Network and streaming on DAZN. After their first fight ended in "No Tournament" in just 15 seconds, Bellator MMA brought in Matt Mitrione (13-6, 1 NC) and Sergei Kharitonov (29-7, 2 NC) to try for a even more fun results!

David Rickels vs. Yaroslav Amosov
Rickels came. at 21-5-2 and Amosov came at 21-0. This fight is at a catchweight of 175 lbs. Amosov sports black shorts and blue gloves. The rickels have black trunks and red gloves. Amosov is fighting outside Kiev, Ukraine and Rickels in Wichita, Kansas. Our judge in charge of this fight is Keith Peterson.
Round 1: A gentle glove faucet starts things off. Rickels approaches with a stutter step and Amosov ignores the unorthodox movement and punches him in the face. Rickels is still smiling to this day. Amosov lowered him at 1:10. Amosov was comfortable working from full guard, trying to posture up to ground shots. The rickels fight for arm and wrist control and slapboxing Amosov in the ears. Amosov measures Rickels towards the fence and continues to be punished by lefts and rights. The elbows are also landing. Rickels got up as we passed the 4 minute mark but returned it immediately. A little blood flickered from his right nostril. The rickels rose again at 4:47. 10-9 Amosov.

Tyrell Fortune vs. Rudy Schaffroth
Fortune is 6-0 in red gloves. Schaffroth is 6-0 (1 NC) in blue gloves. Schaffroth is fighting outside Clackamas, Oregon in gray trunks. Fortune fought outside Tempe, Arizona in black trunks. Our judge in charge is Dan Miragliotta.
Round 1: Both men are the size and size of each other. Schaffroth begins to carefully step forward and Fortune dances to his right outside. Schaffroth released a foot kick and threw a jab toward the body. Fortune begins to circle in the opposite direction and examines Schaffroth's chin. One minute is gone. Schaffroth works correctly but Fortune lands a big right hook and then shoots. Schaffroth stuffed it and threw the knees to the body. Fortune resets. Schaffroth continued to push Fortune backwards with his hands and feet. Fortune connects with a foot kick. Fortune tries a kick to the head and collapses. Schaffroth allows him to back up. Fortune knocked him out with a low kick. He does it again at 3:10. They tied up and separated quickly. Fortune tags the leg again at 3:32. Fortune kept coming back to that in the last minute of the round. 10-9 Fortune.
Round 2: Schaffroth is again the fighter moving although it is clear that Fortune is neither bothered by it nor Schaffroth's left hook. Fortune examines the forehead with a right hand and leaves a large bruise where the fist bone is found. Fortune throws him a kick and hits a big right hand punch in the process then goes to the ground to drop it and grab it. Fortune taps into a natural nude choke at 2:08.
Final result: Tyrell Fortune by submission (liquid naked choke) at 2:08 of round two.
Alejandra Lara vs. Taylor Turner

Kastroit Xhema vs. Connor Dixon
165 lbs. catchweight fight. Dixon is 0-0 in black chopper and blue gloves, against Millville, New Jersey. Xhema is 3-3 in red shorts and gloves, against Greenwich, Connecticut. The referee in charge is Bryan Miner.
Round 1: Dixon scores two takedowns in the first minute of the match and then goes for a guillotine choke. He didn't have it but he climbed to the top half of the guard. Xhema avoids him and Dixon pushes him to the standing fence. They split in 1:56. The dixon shoots for a single leg and gets it at 2:09. Xhema rose quickly and they separated at 2:22. Dixon went for the leg again. Xhema fills it in and almost misses the knee. Xhema sprawl to block the next takedown. Dixon tries to fire Xhema to the top and Xhema forces him to stand by backing away. Xhema misses with a head kick. Dixon collapses and Xhema raises him up again. Kneeling on the body from Xhema. Dixon was still on the other leg but was 50/50 on the ground as Xhema pushed his head back. Dixon finally turned around and let him down for a short while. Skinny 10-9 to Dixon.
Round 2: Dixon still goes for takedowns. He got it in 51 seconds. Dixon passed half the guard and was looking for full mount or side control. He takes the third option and goes for the rear with the same hook. Dixon tries and fails to get an arm triangle choke. He rolls for an armbar at 3:15 and Xhema counters and goes for an inverted triangle choke but Dixon counters NA and returns to the top with one minute left. Xhema sweeps the top with 37 seconds left. 10-9 Dixon.
Round 3: Xhema tells his corner that he broke the thumb in his right hand and Ray Longo says "you can't do anything about it, you still have another hand." Dixon got a takedown 17 seconds in. Dixon had the full mount at 0:45. It wasn't until 1:33 that Dixon finally began to jack him up with shots. The right elbows are to cut Xhema up. Dixon rolls for an armbar and gets a tap.
Final result: Connor Dixon by submission (armbar) at 2:08 of the third round.
Corey Browning vs. Nick Newell
Newell is 15-2 in. With red gloves, against Milford, Connecticut in gray and blue shorts. Browning is 5-2 in blue gloves, fighting Knoxville, Tennessee in white chopper. Our judge in charge is Keith Peterson.
Round 1: Newell lands the first right hand of the fight. A second third and a fourth quickly followed. They walk and Newell pulls him to the ground in 47 seconds. He would soon be over if he could pull his legs to control. He does in 1:41. Newell gets the mounted crucifix and Browning goes nowhere. Full mount at 2:56 with a triangle that is tight enough. Newell passed the other side and Browning taps.
Final result: Nick Newell by submission (triangle choke) at 3:15 of round one.
Austin Vanderford vs. Joseph Creer
White chandeliers and blue gloves for Creer, fighting in Columbus, Georgia. Gray trunks and red gloves for Vanderford outside Portland, Oregon. 7-0 Vanderford is fighting at 185 lbs. for the first time tonight. The Creator is 6-0-1. Our referee in charge is Bryan Miner.
Round 1: Both men immediately move towards the outer circle after the bell. Vanderford missed several shots of the power after connecting with a foot kick. Creer responded with a pair of body kicks. The size of Creer's advantage at middleweight is pretty obvious right now. Creer's hard left hook. Vanderford shoot for a double and gain immediate control but voluntarily moves to half guard to tie one of Creer's feet. Vanderford with body and head remains. Vanderford loses his mouth and puts it back. Slip right elbow to head. Creander returns to the whole guard but Vanderford puts in the hammers in response. 10-9 Vanderford.
Round 2: Creer immediately kicks in with the kicks and Vanderford allows his own forward to bring Creer to the ground. Vanderford moves quickly from full to half guard. More elbows from Vanderford. A pool of blood forms under the head of the Creer itself with the Paramount Network logo. With the amount of blood entering Creer's eyes I wouldn't be surprised if the ref time looked at him. Creer's own body became a canvas paint. The creator will return him to the full guard but will not prevent left elbows and right hammers from landing. Vanderford passed half the guard again with a minute left. The whole thing has been created. The cuts around Creer's right eye looked sweet. Dominant 10-8 rounds for Vanderford. The referee breaks off.
Final result: Austin Vanderford wins by TKO (doctor's pause) at 5:00 in round two.
Sabah Homasi vs. Mika Terrill
Homasi is 12-8 in red gloves and red trunks, overlooking Coconut Creek, Florida. Terrill is 14-7 in blue gloves and black shorts, which is against Millersville, Maryland. Our referee for this contest was Keith Peterson.
Round 1: Terrill fell by a right hook 17 seconds in and IT IS ALL OVER .
Final result: Sabah Homasi won by knockout in 0: 17 of first round.
Ricky Bandejas vs. Ahmet Kayretli
Blue gloves and dark navy trunks for Kayretli in his Bellator debut, from Turkey and fighting outside Fairfax, VA, pro records 8-3. Red gloves and black trunks for Bandejas, 11-3, owned the first victory over James Gallagher, who contested Coconut Creek, FL. Our judge in charge is Dan Miragliotta.
Round 1: Tapping on gloves we work. Kayretli immediately works the low leg. Kayretli fell by a right hook as she approached, faceplants in front of her opponent, and IT WAS ALL OVER.
Final result: Ricky Bandejas by knocking out 1:21 of the first round.
Khonry Gracie  vs. Oscar Vera
Vera was 0-1 in blue gloves and black chopsticks. He is fighting out of the Bronx, New York. Gracie is 1-1 in red gloves and white shorts. He is fighting in Palos Verdes Estates, California. Our judge in charge was John English.
Round 1: Gracie lands the first leg kick as Vera controls the center and presses forward. Vera has a left hook and Gracie takes her all over the mountain in response. Vera sat on the fence. Warriors were warned not to grab the cage. Gracie reached a right hook before the beers and sweeping Vera to end up at the guard. From behind him Gracie went for the armbar and got a grip.
Final result: Khonry Gracie won by submission (armbar) at 2:50 of round one.
Mike Kimbel vs. Chris Disonell
Blue gloves and dark gray trunks for 3-3 Disonell at his Bellator MMA debut in Albany, New York. Red gloves and black trunks for Kimbel outside Waterbury, Conn. With a 3-1 record. Our referee in charge of this contest is Dan Miragliotta.
Round 1: Tap on gloves to start. Kimbel's land is a couple of kick kicks. Disonell charges forward with his left hand and Kimbel responds with a southpaw combo and another kick. Kimbel's land was a right hook and Disonell approached the clinic and threw a knee with Kimbel against the fence. Kimbel laughed on his body as they scrambled for position. They were warned not to take the cage. Dirty boxing from Disonell and some body shots. Kimbel finally finished free at 3:02 and struck Disonell with some wild shots and a knee. Disonell tries to clinch to recover but he eats another knee and then goes down. Kimbel managed to fall with his hands as Disonell turned his back, with less than a minute left in the rotation. Disonell tied Kimbel and led him across the mountain with a little left. Kimbel warned to fight back and Miragliotta would stop fighting.
Final result: Chris Disonell by technical knockout at 4:54 of one round.
Aviv Gozali vs. 19659003] Eduard Muravitsky
Gozali is 2-0 in red gloves, against Bat Yam, Israel. Muravitskiy is 9-8 in blue gloves and blue shorts, against Borisov, Belarus. Our referee in charge of this fight was Bryan Miner.
Round 1: Gozali hits the Imanari roll right away, goes for a heel immediately and has it in 11 seconds.
Final result: Aviv Gozali by submission (heel) at 0:11 of round one.
Jon Manley vs. Thiago Rela
Rela wore blue gloves and black trunks for this fight, from New York, NY. Manley has red gloves and gray shorts, against Easthampton, Mass. Rela is 13-7 and Manley is 11-6. This fight is a catchweight of 175 lbs. Our judge in charge of this contest is John English.
Round 1: Tap gloves. Manley threw a kick early. Rela caught the next kick and tied her opponent to the fence. Rela tried to turn around and jump behind Manley. He licks Manley to his knees still looking to get his hooks, drawing a warning not to grab the fence. Manley tries to counter with a kimura, Rela blocks it but manley breaks into half guard. Both fighters stood at 2:47. Rela looks back to the rear and does, once Manley is dragged back to the ground, this time cinching up a body lock. 10-9 Relax.
Round 2: Time was called 45 seconds into the rotation as Rela was kicked with one right foot straight to the cup. Manley said that even though he was unintentional, he had to control his actions at all times. The fight continues with an apology from Manley to his opponent. Rela clung to the knee, pushed against the fence, and jumped behind Manley again. Manley quickly stands up but Rela piggybacks him until Manley pushes him away. Rela kept turning as she continued to try to peel him. Rela finally dragged her away and turned around 2:59. After a minute the fighters were warned not to bend their toes and attach them to the fence. Manley uses a kimura attempt to sweep the control side. Manley probably got more strikes in blocking Rela's attempts to get it to the ground so he earned 10-9 – only slightly. spins to side control, takes to the rear and begins to remove the hard right hand on the head. By 2:18 Rela was warned that she would have to move as Manley continued to be released. He got a second warning that he needed to get out for a while. The Englishman gives him a heavy "Move Thiago!" It is about to be prevented. Amazing 4pm round this fight is still going on. Manley will go for the back to get a natural nude choke with short time left. The ref finally stops this fight.
