Charming Charlie's jewelry and accessories retailer ends all 261 of its stores as part of its latest 11 bankruptcy filing.
The company has stores in 38 states, including Alabama, where it has locations in Huntsville, Birmingham and Mobile.
Houston-based Charming Charlie closed about 100 stores during his previous bankruptcy, completed in 2018, USA Today reports. A filing court said Thursday that these cuts are "insufficient to stabilize" the business and return to profitability.
Out-of-business sales are currently being done in many locations. Stores are expected to close no later than August 31, according to court files.
Charming Charlies was founded in 2004.
