The trailer of Hansal Mehta directorial Chhalaang is gone. The film features Rajkummar Rao, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in the lead roles.

From the three-minute trailer, Chhalaang appears to be a simple story with elements of love, drama and comedy that adds flavor to it. Montu, played by Rao, is a PT teacher at a school. His professional choice was not because of his passion for teaching or sports. This is just an easy option which does not require him to make much to earn money. But her life changed when Neelu (Bharuccha) entered school as a computer teacher. He began to like her and tried to woo her in every possible way.

But which Bollywood love story is complete without a third angle. Ayyub character Singh, who was appointed as Montu’s elder, entered. Now, how Montu faces the competition from Singh on both the personal and professional front, making the film narrative.

Ila Arun as the school principal looks wonderful. Saurabh Shukla and Satish Kaushik are also making promising releases in the trailer. From its appearance, Chhalaang appears to be a movie packed with some performance stars.

Chhalaang marks the fifth collaboration between director Hansal Mehta and actor Rajkummar Rao after critically acclaimed films such as Shahid, Citylight, Aligarh and Omerta. The film was produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

Talking about Chhalaang, Mehta shared, “We made this film in the hope of delivering a good message through a light-hearted comedy. While highly relevant to student and teacher life, Chhalaang is a complete package full of feelings of love, comedy, friendship, rivalry and emotional drama making it a perfect consolation for the Diwali family. “

Rao called Chhalaang a family entertainer. “Sports play an important role in building children’s character while having fun! Chhalaang took me back to my school days – looking back I realized how I was shaped by the sport I played as a person today. This is a special film – a real family watch and perfect as a Diwali launch, “the actor said.

Originally scheduled for release on June 12 in theaters, the film will now have a digital release. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video from November 13th.
