The Colts are the latest team to close their facility after receiving positive COVID-19 tests.
The team released a statement Friday morning announcing that they will work remotely as they work to confirm those tests are truly positive.
“This morning, we were informed that many individuals within our organization had tried to be posted for COVID-19,” the statement said. “The team is currently in the process of confirming those tests. In the meantime, the training facility will be closed and the team will work remotely while following NFL protocols. We are talking to the NFL and there will be a lot of information when available. “
Indianapolis is scheduled to host Cincinnati on Sunday, but any plans for that game will be temporary until the confirmation process is over. The Bengals have a farewell on Week Nine and the Colts have a farewell on Week Seven, so any move from this Sunday will take some league transfer schedule.
The Falcons closed their facility on Thursday after a positive test, but are expected to return to the building Friday as long as no other positive result returns from the latest phase of trials.
