After losing back-to-back losses, Rafael dos Anjos earned himself the win over the weekend night by losing Kevin Lee, who made his UFC welterweight debut. The fourth-round RDA's triathlete submission victory has earned him praise from MMA media, one of whom even brought up the failed matchup against Conor McGregor.
So when publishers Josh Gross published a situation when McGregor and two Anjos fought as planned, "The Notorious" quickly blasted the former 155-pound champion.
Another user responded to the previous quip of McGregor, where the Irishman decides his own retort.
McGregor and dos Anjos are scheduled to fight at UFC 196 March, which seems to be for lightweight titles. Dos Anjos, who was then a champion, was pulled out of a broken leg and then replaced by Nate Diaz, who replaced the fight with a welterweight fight. McGregor's loss ends with a second round.
Both of them are required to face one of Brazil's May 2018 for an interim welterweight title fight, but McGregor's arrest was prevented for UFC 223 bus attack in Brooklyn.
Before the UFC Rochester, twelve Anjos expressed interest in making one-off lightweight fight to make McGregor fight at last.
