You are solely responsible for your comments and by using TribLive.com you agree to our
Terms of Service.
We have moderate comments. Our goal is to provide a great commentary for a general reading. Through screening submissions, we provide a space where readers can share intelligent and insightful commentary that improves the quality of our news and information. We will do this very carefully and continue as far as possible. Due to the volume of reader comments, we are unable to evaluate individual decisions with readers.
We appreciate thoughtful comments that represent a range of insights that are fast and courteous. We strive to protect discussions from repeated comments by the same reader or other readers
We follow the same criteria for taste as daily newspapers. Some things we can't tolerate: personal attacks, obscenity, vulgarity, vulgarity (including expletives and letters followed by dashes), commercial promotion, impersonation, incoherence, proselytizing and SHINGING. Don't include URLs on Web sites.
We did not edit comments. Whether they are approved or deleted. We reserve the right to edit a comment quoted or cited in an article. In this case, we can adjust the spelling and punctuation.
We welcome strong opinions and criticisms of our work, but we do not want comments to be blurred in discussions of our policies and we will be moderate accordingly.
We appreciate it when readers and people quoted in articles or blog posts point out errors of fact or emphasis and review all considerations. But these suggestions should be sent
by e-mail. In order to avoid interrupting other readers, we cannot publish comments suggesting a correction. Instead, the correction will be done in a blog post or an article.
