E3 2019 – Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Sequel Trailer Breakdown And Theories
Nintendo always saves the biggest surprise for the last, huh? Even though its Nintendo filled the E3 2019 Directly with some surprise announcements – such as Dragon Quest of The Hero and Banjo & Kazooie to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as it is possible to play with the fighters – the biggest reveal is right at the end. Nintendo told The Legend of Zelda: The breath of the subsequent Wild was in development and revealed a brand new trailer that is considered more details for the fearsome follow-up of the 2017 title.
When it comes to Breath of the Wild's sequel, we know very little. Nintendo is a great job of maintaining games under wraps, so the name, story, setting, and sequel sequences are still unknown. Basically, the only thing we know is doing the game. This new trailer has given us some new details though, and from there we can make some educated speculations what to expect.
The trailer starts at Link and Zelda exploring a cave-looking cave. Though linking the Link to the same look she made in the Breath of the Wild, Zelda changed her wardrobe. Although his breath of the Wild pants and blouse was still there, he was adopted by a cap and hood similar to a Link wears on his Hylian Armor Set. He also cuts off his hair, deliberately cut a closer to a Link.
The more visible one is the playing music. The use of the synth creates a much spookier environment in comparison to the breath of the soft string of the Wild. The sound, though & # 39; t slightly different, was used for a Legend of Zelda game before: Twilight Princess. Comparisons of Twilight Princess continue throughout the trailer, while Link and Zelda are releasing deeper into the dungeon.
The duo of dark energy encountered almost as much in the area and creatures around it and it comes from what seems to be mummified corpse of Calamity Ganon (at least, looks like a man Gerudo). The energy itself has been channeled only by Ganon though. It really comes from a glowing arm that drives the mummy's chest. The arm is wrapped in golden jewelry, with designs similar to twilight symbols of Twili ̵
1; a race of individuals trapped in the Twilight Realm after their ancestors arrogantly challenged (mighty sorcerers) the gods of Hyrule .

We then saw a sequence of quick-moving scenes. The first shows Link seems to be trying to channel and utilize the energy that causes glowing arms to glow. The next one sees the dark energy careening on the ceiling. This is followed by a shot of Link and Zelda reaching for each other before cutting the opening of a crypt. We saw Zelda's hand pulled by a glowing arm and (perhaps) a flashback to Calamity Ganon first encountered a fuzzy part of that arm. Zelda's linking and involvement seemed to be a thing of the grave, as the floor began to collapse and the mummified corpse turned to look at it and opened its eyes to anger. The trailer ends with Hyrule Castle rising from the ground and a shot of glowing blue energy – which again looks like magic that Twili (particularly Midna, Zant, and other powerful leaders) uses
What It Could Mean
Of course, all the comparisons of Twilight Princess are meaningless. Some people complained that the Breath of the Wild is not just a dark enough story. A similar complaint was directed at The Wind Waker and Nintendo responded to Twilight Princess. The breath of the Wild sequel may look just like the Twilight Princess because Nintendo makes only one arrangement similar to what it did in the middle of 2000.
That says, this is a relatively true theory to think that Twili and the Twilight Realm will be included in the breath of the Wild. The first draft of the breath of the original Wild story that was referenced alien involvement . Obviously, it is cut off. However, Twili is a kind of alien to the people of Hyrule. The size in which they live can be on different planets, and the last time they arrived at Hyrule (the events of Twilight Princess) it was an invading force.
The events of the Twilight Princess are also directly referred to Wild's breathing. When Link is knighted as the next Hero of Hyrule and being Master Master Sword, Zelda makes reference to previous land heroes. "[Link, you] proved that you are worthy of the blessings of the Hylia goddess," Zelda said. "If tied in the sky, discovered by time, or filled with twinkling lungs of twilight … The divine blade is infinitely bound to the soul of the Hero." If Twilight Princess, canonically, occur before the Occasions of the Wild Breath, then the Twilight Realm exists in this timeline of the Zelda game.
Connection to Twilight Princess is not all new trailers that are likely to indicate, though. Zelda's decision to adopt Link's appearance, and the decision to join him on his next adventure may indicate a co-op element. If not co-op, then at least Zelda can play this time around. It's pretty cool to finally play as a princess who is in the title of the franchise.
