A look by Greta Thunberg in a circa-1898 photo of three children from the Yukon went viral this week and some on Twitter joked that climate activists are a "time traveler."

"So, & # 39; Greta Thunberg & # 39; s in a picture from 120 years ago, and this is my new favorite conspiracy," one Twitter user wrote. "Greta is a time traveler, from the future, and she is here to save us."
Others joked about other distant theories.
"This matter of Greta Thunberg being a traveler is absurd, there is no such thing as time travel. Obviously she is just immortal," wrote another.
While Twitter is happy with the picture, some are concerned about the dangers of misinformation about misinformation.
"There was a time when a" theory "like this would take a chuckle and if someone was seriously pushing it we might regret their instability. Nowadays either these "theories" can grow legs and become "real" to up to 1000 Americans, "one user warned.
