Things crave for Huawei while US exports threaten cutting the company from the technology and services it needs to survive. One of the main concerns is the real possibility of losing access to Google services and Android updates. Still, Huawei remains confident of a promise to update 17 phones on Android Q according to its new "Huawei Answer" site.

The website declares this promise and seeks to dispel the "rumors" surrounding his government issues. The essence of the site is that existing HUAWEI phones continue to work while they always have. Here is the list of phones says Huawei gets Android Q.

  • P30 Pro
  • P30
  • Mate 20
  • Mate 20 Pro
  • P30 lite [1
  • P20
  • P smart
  • Mate 20 X

  • P20 Pro
  • Mate 10
  • Mate 20 Lite

Huawei is currently in the midst of a 90-day grace period, thereafter may have the effect of restricting the US Commerce Department. That may prevent US companies from transferring Huawei technology without special permission. Google said it believes it should stop working on Huawei but reported working behind the scenes to get an exemption for Android. It is unclear how Huawei can get all of these phones updated with Google services if that effort fails.
