Iowa health officials submit a CDC vaccine distribution plan if available

The Iowa Department of Health of Iowa is proposing a vaccination strategy for coronavirus. Vaccination will be given first to the most vulnerable Iowan because the state expects there may be a limited supply of vaccines in advance. The state expects the vaccine to require multiple doses, and providers will need to send reminders when patients are due. Documents are submitted to the Center of Disease Control and Prevent for review and approval. There is no coronavirus vaccine yet.
