Jordy Nelson went for a reunion with Green Bay Packers? But the vast veteran receiver who spent 10 seasons in Packers was released by the Oakland Raiders Thursday. Nelson signed a two-year deal with the team in March after Packers chose to divide wide-ranging ways, ranking the top five franchisees in the reception, receiving yards and touchdowns. As expected, the 33-year-old market hit again after only one year in Oakland has fans of online Packers thinking about favorite fans who have got footballs from Aaron Rodgers.

Perhaps the best work from Packers loyal is this rendering what Nelson might look like in a packer uniform:

Another Redditor went to a "The Martian" parody: [19659015] Then there's this, holding the No. 2 spot on Packers Reddit page as Friday morning.

Not to be overwhelmed, Twitter's Twitter Packers are also piping up. Perhaps there are many. 87 jerseys that people will be happy to return to the regular rounds.

Note that, still at Randall Cobb and Clay Matthews there is a free agency, Nelson is not the only star of the Packers from the last decade that may or may not return to green and gold.
