The nominee of the democratic vice president Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., Had a difficult moment during a virtual campaign event in North Carolina Thursday, as he and a staff member laughed amid a serious push for people to vote .
“So my last point is this: This election will end in 19 days,” Harris said, with a smile running down his face. “Yes, that’s what I said. Kamala did you say it will end in 19 days? Yes, I did, I said it will end in 19 days.” At that point, Harris seemed to be struggling with laughter.

“Because you see North Carolina, early voting now begins on October 15,” he continued, as a male voice from the camera could be heard laughing. “So, we want you to start voting. October 15, we want you to start voting and voting early.”
Early voting in North Carolina runs from October 15 to October 31. Voting in the mail began when voters cast their ballots on September 4. North Carolina was the first state to send ballots to voters. .

Forest followed Cooper for restrictions he put in place to counter the coronavirus pandemic, which included keeping bars and gyms longer than in other states.
“We don’t need a governor who treats us like 5 years old,” Forest said, according to WRAL. “Lockdown commands and masks actually do more harm than good.”

Cooper defended his decision.
“You can’t ask for a pandemic,” he said. “It won’t work that way,”
