Kroger said Monday it will do the bakery of Columbus. Closing will be affected by 411 workers.
Kroger said Monday that it will immediately shut down Columbus's bakery immediately, which costs 411 to their jobs.
"After analyzing equipment and plant layout, it is clear that outdated layout and age of equipment are no longer maintained for us to remain competitive," the company said in a statement. "The plant's production will appear immediately and its decommissioning process is expected to reach 60-90 days."
The bakery is on Cleveland Avenue near Downtown.
The grocer said there was no plan to shut down the rest of its facilities.
