Modern Warfare Confirms Large Gameplay Adjustment, Trying Another

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & # 39; s Alpha is currently underway, which means that the PS4, Xbox One, and PC shooter is getting one of its first proper tests. And as you might expect, there are issues with the game, many of which are small and easy to solve. Plus, thanks to fan feedback, developer Infinity Ward is aware of many of the issues that players are reporting. For example, Infinity Ward confirms that it gets a metric ton of feedback on the audio footsteps of the game, noting that many players find that the player's footsteps are too powerful while the enemy's footsteps are too quiet. In other words, not only is it difficult to hear other players, but if you are moving it is even harder because your person is running like the Hulk.

That said, changes are being made to this aspect of the game. In fact, adjustments will be made in time for the game beta so players can see the improvements before launch. The news comes in the form of Infinity Ward & # 39; s Ashton Williams, who confirmed much through Twitter. Audio for footsteps is lowered as falloff audio for enemy footsteps is raised. You will see this change in Beta.

Meanwhile, another big issue of Alpha is the big babies leaving Gunfight matches early. That said, the Infinity Ward is aware of this problem as well. So far, though, it has nothing to announce before, but it has heard player feedback and is looking at increasing penalties for players who leave Gunfight matches early.

Of course, there are other changes and adjustments. For example, fatigue bug fatigue is fixed. That said, nothing is more prominent than the above two problems.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC when it launches later this year on October 25. At the moment of publication, there is no word of any additional port.
