The measles case is officially reported in New Hampshire, one of the 12 states with a virus according to the latest releases from the CDC.
The case of New Hampshire, first reported March 1, an international traveler to take a bus from Boston's South Station to Manchester on Tuesday, February 26.
At least 228 measles cases reported from January 1 to the United States, according to US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The number of cases is closer to 372 cases in all 2018, which is the second highest annual total for cases of illness over two decades.
New Hampshire now includes other states on the list including: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
The disease was removed from the US in 2000 but is common in many other countries, just as the cu started out of the outbreak.
