Samsung will not be alone. Huawei, the world's second-largest producer behind Samsung, is rumored to be releasing its first-fold phone. LG, Nokia, Oppo and Xiaomi also plan to do their mark on the annual Barcelona confab.
Why this year's MWC is more important than last year's show is the strength we see behind three powerful trends that have the potential to define a decade of mobile phones: foldable designs, 5G data speed and amazingly complex photography due to a plethora of rear cameras. As smartphone salesworldwide smartphone, the products and news announced on MWC offer a beacon of hope for revitalizing one of the fastest moving industries on the planet.
Here are the phones and brands we look forward to seeing to do that challenge.

The Chinese brand Oppo brought us a showstoppingin 2018, so we hope for a similar show. If the rumors are believed, Oppo can be equipped for Oppo F11 Pro, a phone with all the screen with a 48-megapixel camera coming out of the body, and good light shots. It looks like there's a stunning gradient design behind, too.

However, the flagship of Xiaomi Mi 9 is also bouncing around the corridors of speculation. Xiaomi took its chance at MWC to launch this line of phones before, so the announcement stands on the ground. Xiaomi usually produces a higher-end variant of its Mi telephones, either a pro model or a special edition.

Press Nokia conference phones : Feb. 24, 4 p.m. CET (7 a.m. PT)
We only expect a Nokia phone from HMD, the company that defends Nokia's name, but one we think we can get is a doozy. According to a rendering posted by by frequent Twitter leaker Evan Blass, Nokia 9 PureView will have five cameras behind, use Zeiss's camera technology and run Android One, the "pure" Android version Google shares with device makers.
It is also possible that this HMD will make the third year of the release of a throwback phone feature (aka "dumb phone") to the satisfaction of nostalgic classes everywhere. Last year"banana phone" and the supercheap of Nokia almost won the MWC in their respective years.

LG is not ashamed of announcing its own LG G8 ThinQ phone at the front of the MCW, complete with 3D facing the front of the camera which can unlock phones securely like iPhone XS and iPhone X before it .
The G8 is also expected to have a second screen attachment case.
We do not know much more about the LG G8, or if LG will show or tap a foldable phone like many others. However, we believe LG may announce a 5G device.
The handset-maker is also known for trotting out midorangers like LG X Power, so there is a possibility that a phone can also make its debut.

point the Sony Xperia X4 as the follow-up on the marquee on the Xperia X3 last year. We can look for bold camera claims here, including slow-motion video enhancements.
It's unlikely we will see a 5G phone from Sony so soon. The company does not want to rush into a product that most phone buyers will not seize in 2019, Sony Mobile's marketing Don Donna said in Digital Trends in January. However, Sony often reveals a small number of midrange models alongside its top device.
