Nintendo shares surged on Friday after Tencent won approval to start selling the console console of the Japanese gaming giant in China.
"It's still early in the process. Therefore, we expect a few hours before the release of the console in China, "Ahmad said in a note on Thursday.
" Nintendo and Tencent also need to submit each game for approval in China and make sure that the games are in compliance with the content regulation. It's also a lengthy process and it takes a few hours before Nintendo can build a large library of official games in China, "he added.
