After a wonderful stretch ending on a mysterious teaser tweet on Thursday, Sky Man Creator Sean Murray revealed that another major free update was on the road. The new content, which is the first from last year's Visions update, has hit a massive space exploration game this summer.
The new content bundle, called No Man's Sky "Beyond," will work with three different updates, though Murray only provides one's details right now. What we know is something Murray called "No Online Man Online" which "includes a radical new social and multiplayer experience that strengthens players everywhere in the universe to meet and play together" and collect three three standalone updates in "a vision for something more affective."
The short video preview does not reveal much, but it shows a ship we have not seen before in what looks either in a reimagined space station (that would be nice!) or some kind of new multiplayer hub area.
Murray said multiplayer updates can not add things from other major multiplayer games such as microtransactions or subscriptions and he has no intention of making the MMO No Person Sky. (However, if many people play online together in a huge world, are not uh, MMO type?) The blog post has revealed that the team will release more details on the other two big pieces of new content in the coming weeks.
"These changes are an answer to how we see people playing since the NEXT, and something we dreamed for a long time," added Murray.

That community will be happy to hear according to his latest blog post, Murray does not want to stay away from the game anytime soon.
