Rocket Panda Games has announced Phantom Breaker: Omnia 2D fighting game, an update of MAGES.‘ Phantom Breaker: Extra game, on Thursday. The game will be launched worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in 2021. The official YouTube channel for PlayStation started streaming an announcement trailer, and the video shows and previews the theme’s “Contradiction” theme Eir Aoi.
Rocket Panda Games tells the story:
A mysterious man, simply known as the ‘Phantom’ appeared in Tokyo – Japan’s capital city – and manipulated the weak youth to fight each other, bestowing on them the mystical weapons of the superpower known as ‘Fu-mension Artifact.’ In return, he promised to grant their request if they would survive.
Unbeknownst to the warriors, the fierce clash between the Fu-mension Artifacts resulted in space-time distortions, compromising the boundaries between identical universes. The collapse of these allied universes will eventually break the seal, unleashing Phantom’s destructive powers.
The game will feature 20 characters, including two new characters and guest characters Kurisu Makise from Steins; Gate series and Rimi Sakihata from Chaos; HEAd series Other features will include three fighting styles, a rebalanaced combat system, a remixed soundtrack, and stories from the same original Phantom Breaker at Phantom Breaker: Extra games. The game will feature Japanese and English voice acting, and text options include English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

The original Phantom Breaker game debuted for Xbox 360 in Japan in 2011. Phantom Breaker: Extra, an enhanced version of the original game, launched for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan in 2013.
MAGES.‘ Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds the game was launched for Switch worldwide in December 2017 under the title Phantom Breaker: Excessive Overdrive of Battle Grounds. The game was launched on XBox Live Arcade in 2013, and also available on PS Vita, PC, and PS4.
