The Best Level In Luigi's Mansion 3 Lets You Help Or Or Betray A Friendly Ghost

Luigi's Mansion 3 is, strangely, housed in a large hotel. Each floor of this hotel is a different level themed, some more common than others. For example, the first floors feature kitchens and hotel rooms, while the floors feature deserts and pirate ships. But the best floor and level in Luigi's Mansion 3 was one where you really helped a ghost and even got the chance to free him and not get him.

The level is Paranormal Productions and is located on the 8th floor of the hotel. Paranormal Productions is a studio studio that is, for some strange reason, located inside a ghost hotel. It's best not to think so. But once you get off the elevator, the level feels different. Luigi is surrounded by movie posters, TVs, cameras and other movie-related items.

You can also find a poster for Punch-Out! and a poster for a movie based on Super Mario Strikers is a soccer game featuring Mario and friends. (Hint: Break the poster featuring Punch-Out! to find a fun Easter egg.) It has five different lots, each with a different set.

In the midst of it all is a crying movie director who also happens to be a ghost.

This is Morty and unlike the other ghostes bosses in the game, Morty doesn't attack you or steal anything from you. She was just crying about her missing red megaphone. Luigi feels bad and decides to help Morty. To help, Luigi had to visit each set of the film, taking different elements, such as a torch, to eventually solve the main puzzle and return the megaphone to Morty.

Each of these sets feels and looks different. A set is a city street that burns. Another set is a creepy suspected good, complete with an evil animatronic ghost coming out. To complete the puzzles in each set, Luigi must film Gooigi. Through the camera, the green screens and cameras disappear and instead you see a finished set, complete with visual effects, attacking ghosts and music. Gooigi was not the most charismatic actor, but he finished the job. and filming all your shots, Luigi and Gooigi return the megaphone to Morty. She is happy and believes Luigi is a star! He opened a door to a new set, this one featuring a small city. And then the best boss battle in the game happens. Luigi and Gooigi team to fight a ghost wearing a monster suit. The whole level is like a love letter to Godzilla movies from back in the day, complete with a suit that falls apart as the fight lasts. When you defeat the ghost inside the suit, Morty the director is so excited about the fight and scene, he gives Luigi the key to the next level of the hotel. No fight is needed. He loved Luigi and was grateful for his help. She went to her editing room to edit her movie. Luigi is still celebrating that he is a star today.

All of this makes the next thing really happening.

You can now leave this level, let the director edit his movie and enjoy his work. Which I suppose some players did. But I didn't do it. Instead I decided to check in with the director and realized he had HP numbers floating above his head. I can find him with my vacuum pack. So I did. Once you start sucking her into the pack, she takes to the editing table, desperate to finish her movie. In a few seconds he was gone. Instead of the usual festivities Luigi performs when the ghost disappears, he only sadly lifts his fist to a snap. He felt awful at what he had done and you know what, I did too.

I'm sorry to suck that ghost. Morty, I apologize You are a good part of what was easily my favorite level in Luigi's Mansion 3. You deserve to be free of the vacuum. I hope others do not make my mistake. It is the only level throughout the game that challenges Luigi to a moral decision. I failed him, but I got an in-game award for holding him. So maybe it's worth it all?
