It has been two weeks since the One UI 3.0 beta opened to the general public. Only those who own a Galaxy S20 series device in select markets have signed up for the beta program. It was only a few hours before Samsung expanded the program into the Galaxy Note 20 series as well.
There is no doubt about it and we already have official confirmation. Samsung has confirmed in its community forums for South Korea that the Galaxy Note 20 One UI 3.0 beta is coming soon.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 20 One UI 3.0 beta soon
Owners of Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 can participate in the beta program. The list of supporting countries will remain the same. Samsung is offering beta to users in South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, China and India.
The company has not given a confirmed date when the first One UI 3.0 beta firmware will be shipped for the Galaxy Note 20. It may not be too long now, we will probably see it coming next week. Samsung is already sending a second beta firmware to testers in markets like the United States. It just shows that the development work on the next major update goes well.
No one is suggesting at this point at the time that the One UI 3.0 beta program will be extended to last year̵7;s flagships. The company has done that in the past. So far, there is no indication that beta will be released for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 lineups.
We will have an ear on the ground and let you know as soon as we know more.
