It looks like it's Anthony Davis or bust for the Los Angeles Lakers this summer.
When it comes to a dangerous time featuring a 10th place finish in the West, a wounded LeBron James and a public split with Johnson's icon icon team exposed to a running spry of inner turmoil, the Lakers have many resting on the upcoming NBA free agent.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, fans of purple and gold should take their expectations.
Free agents who are not interested in the Lakers
During a special NBA draft on the network, Wojnarowski reports that the Lakers are not on the radar of top free agents.
Woj of ESPN – "If #Lakers writes in No. 4 in the draft night, they are having trouble because this means they did not make the trade of Anthony Davis … now, they're not a frontrunner or even really a major consideration for any of the free agents. " #Pelicans – ClutchPoints (@ClutchPointsApp) June 12, 2019
& # 39; Not a frontrunner & # 39; "Right now, they are not a frontrunner or even really a major consideration for any elite free agent," Wojnarowski told the Lakers. "If they do not get Anthony Davis, they'll have a hard time putting a team on the floor next year that LeBron James will be happy."
That's a bitter report for Lakers fans. The Lakers signed James last offseason as the first piece in a plan to build a super-team. If they can not rally a talent to him, they will only have a regular team with an aging superstar who will not be near competing in the West.
And James will waste the edge of his strength in a bad team that does not have the right to possess the future in his legacy.
Where are the top free agents that are leaning?
The pending free agent class is packed with potential differences. Many of them were reported to be leaning towards specific destinations with few of the connections made to the Lakers. Wojnarowski's report proves that the Lakers are really offensive to attract talent.

"Kevin Durant is considered a free agent class prize before the Achilles injury he suffered during Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday. Even in his dark future, he still orders a max deal. That deal does not appear to be on the table for the Lakers, but is more likely the Golden State Warriors, the New York Knicks or the Brooklyn Nets.
The new king of the free agent market Kawhi Leonard has reported that his sights are set in Los Angeles. But if he does not sign up again at the Toronto Raptors, his preferred Southern California destination has long been reported as a Clippers rival.
No Kyrie-LeBron reunion?
Kyrie Irving is linked to the Lakers report and reunites with James. He presents one of the hardest decisions of an independent agent to predict and even his eyes on the Knicks or Nets with a potential pairing in New York Durant. The sound from Wojnarowski's report that Irving was in New York.
Klay Thompson was previously reported to be interested in the Lakers, partly due to his father Mychal Thompson's relationship with the team as a role player during the Showtime season. But those reports have long faded, with the Clippers reported to be more likely to be landing L.A. Thompson has done anything but once again signing the Warriors will come as a significant surprise.
Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris and Kemba Walker will also sign up for big deal money in this offseason. The sound from Wojnarowski is like all of them will have a hard passing passage to the Lakers.
Davis still wonders of the Lakers
<p class = "canvas-atom canvas-text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Which brings things back around to Davis. Despite the turmoil, & nbsp; Davis has reported that the Lakers as his highest destination & nbsp; with the Knicks." Data-reactid = "79"> Which brings things back to Davis. Despite the upheaval, Davis reported that the Lakers were the highest destination with the Knicks.
The Lakers problem is that the decision is not his call. He will remain under the contract with New Orleans Pelicans, who will ultimately determine what team Davis is looking for next season whatever he wants.
Pre-draft Critical deal for the Lakers
Wojnarowski claims that the next Thursday night will be clear if the Lakers are upbuilding in talks of Davis's trade discount in February to recover a deal with the Pelicans.
"If the Lakers are working at No. 4 in the draft night, again in trouble," Wojnarowski says. "Because this means they did not get an AD trade."
The entire Lakers plan can relate to that deal. If the Lakers make a trade for Davis, the agency's free discussion can be greatly improved. A team with James and an elite talent like Davis just entering his strength brings much more appeal to a player who seeks a chance to win the championship.
Without Davis, a young player who is thinking about joining the Lakers is risking tying his strength to a team with an unstable current and a dangerous future.
It was a fortune not even the lure of play in James could be overcome.
