CNN anchor Don Lemon has switched to President Trump on Monday while reporting a devastating fire sinking at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Lemon started by pressing president's comments at an event in Burnsville, Minn., Where he said the cathedral was burning "too bad" and that "it looked like it was burning on the ground."
"The Notre Dame, by the way, is not burned in the ground thanks to the heroic efforts of firefighters although the damage is really breathtaking," Lemon says.
"CNN Tonight" host called Trump's interview "raking the forest floor" as wildfires devastated by northern California in 201
Lemon followed Trump's tweet with a response from the French Civil Defense Agency, claiming that "they did not have" because they refused the statement of the president's stion because of the use of air-bombing aircraft "could lead to the collapse of full structure of the cathedral. "
