Google Maps has got a new feature – here’s how it works.

Google announced this Thursday expanded its “busyness” feature nasa Google map app to show you live information on whether a place is cramped or empty. For example, if you plan to go to the grocery store, you will see how many people are there.

This update came in response to the coronavirus pandemic to help people know what to expect when going to a public place. Google says it is expanding the feature to more outdoor areas, such as beaches and parks, and important places, such as grocery stores, gas stations, laundry and pharmacies.

Once the feature is available, you just need to open the Maps app on your Android or iPhone ($ 699 on Amazon) or navigate to Google Maps in your browser and switch on the map until you see where you want to go. The inconvenience information will appear on the map, so you do not have to search for a specific place to see how crowded it is. It will say something like “Not busy,” “Busy than ever,” or “If busy.” Google has announced that this new Maps feature will be released in the coming weeks.
