Since the The Outer Worlds at Switch this year, Virtuos and Private Divisions have been working hard on a patch to improve the overall experience. It is expected to raise the quality of the visuals as well as the performance of the game.
Today, in an update from the official Outer Worlds Twitter account, it has been confirmed that this patch is expected to launch on Switch on October 21st. There will also be a sale on October 22nd.

More details on what is included in the Nintendo Switch patch will be released soon, but for now, you will enjoy this image showing some of the visual changes.
There is no word on when the first game expansion will be released on Switch, but this content is at least confirmed for this Private Division platform.
