DENVER – US Bank significantly reduces its physical footprint in Colorado.
On Thursday, hours after BusinessDen reported that the company closed its branch in 1625 N. Broadway, the Minnesota-based US Bank said it was closing a total of 26 state branches.
Those nineteen branches are in what the company considers in the Denver market.
As of June 30, the US Bank has 72 branches in the Denver metro area, and 136 in the state, according to the FDIC. Going across the state, closures account for only 20 percent of the company’s branches.
In addition to 1625 N. Broadway, local closures also include the branch at 1660 Wynkoop St., opposite Union Station. This will reduce the company’s downtown Denver number to one: 950 17th St.
