The Front-door video at his home in Frederick, Colorado, was acquired once a friend dropped to Watts from the airport on August 13, 2018. He'll be carrying his suitcase in the lane and at the door.
The short video clip is believed to be the last time Shanann Watts, who is 15 weeks pregnant, is seeing life. Within hours – possibly even minutes – Shanann was killed, authorities said.
Her husband, Chris Watts, was guilty in November in a first-degree murder and other charges for the death of her husband and daughter. He was sentenced to five sentences in life without the possibility of parole.
HLN got the new video through an open request request at Weld County District Attorney's Office. The prosecutor has not yet released the footage.
By mid-afternoon on August 13, Shanann's friends and family begin to worry. She does not answer her phone – and her daughters are not shown for preschool.
Authorities said the three were dead at this time. It is not clear if the girls are alive when their mother comes home.
A massive investigation and search, involving the local police department, Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the FBI,
Shanann was hidden in a shallow grave in a countryside, just under an hour away from the home of the couple. Almost 100 feet in the body of her girls, Celeste, 3, and Bella, 4. They are dumped into separate 20-foot tall oil tanks.
Prosecutors said Chris Watts had a secret affair with one of his co-workers. As Shanann Watts's decision to save her marriage, the police said her husband was focusing on this new interest in love.
Watts was sentenced to life in prison in November. Weld County District Attorney Michael Rourke said his office continued to receive daily phone calls, emails and letters containing everything from the theory of conspiracy to follow-up suggestions "
" It certainly covers the conscience of a large part of the public and we continue to have daily letters, "Rourke says.
