Watch the launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and arrive from the onboard camera

The launch of the August 30th SpaceX Falcon 9 of the SAOCOM 1B mission included an onboard camera that captured the entire rocket takeoff and returned to the surface of our planet for all to see. If you want to experience what it’s like to launch a rocket into our environment, then safely back to a landing pad – now’s your chance. In our life it is not possible to launch and retrieve a rocket like this – now we get a snapshot of the whole process on YouTube.

Included in the footage below is footage of the launch of Falcon 9 of the SAOCOM 1B mission. This mission is SpaceX’s first launch into a polar orbit from the East Coast of the United States. The takeoff took place at Cap Canaveral Air Force Station ̵

1; the landing took place in Landing Zone 1.

This mission has been the first use of the southern polar corridor to reach orbit from Cape Canaveral since 1969. This event was captured this week and shared on the SpaceX YouTube channel. It speeds up quickly – the real process takes a WHOLE longer than more than 2 minutes.

Included in the launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket this week is the SAOCOM 1B satellite for CONAE. This is the second of two “SAOCOM 1-series” Earth observation satellites from CONAE. Argentina space agency launched these satellites to monitor the environment of this planet and provide data and imagery to the first responders seeking to keep our planet in order.

This launch took place on August 30, 2020, delayed from its original launch date and location in January 2020 from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. Now that the satellite has been deployed, SAOCOM-1b is in a Sun-synchronous orbit.
