WWE plans for the Undisputed Era are reportedly revealed

The Undisputed Era is arguably the greatest faction in NXT history. Having been in the brand and leading it for the last three years, there have been rumors about WWE separating them or moving them to the main list.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported the following about plans for Era’s undisputed leader, Adam Cole saying he was moved to a proper babyface in the brand.

He said:

Adam Cole wrestling with Austin Theory tonight is really the beginning of Cole being moved to a babyface role for the brand. WWE started teasing it slowly after losing to Finn Balor.

He added that Kyle O̵

7;Reilly, who challenged Finn Balor for the NXT Championship this weekend at NXT TakeOver, is also set to move into a full-fledged babyface role. Interestingly, the truth is not true for the other two members of The Undisputed Era – Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong. Both Fish and Heavy are expected to remain heels which will be interesting to the dynamic of the faction.

The Undisputed Era in WWE NXT recently

The Undisputed Era has led NXT for the last three years. There was an hour ago when all four members of the faction held gold, with Adam Cole as NXT Champion, Roderick Strong as NXT North American Champion, and Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish as NXT Tag Team Champions.

Adam Cole lost his NXT title to Keith Lee earlier this year after a 400 – + record breaking record. Since then, Panama City Playboy has been showing signs of being a babyface. He faced and defeated Pat McAfee on NXT TakeOver XXX after the latter laughed at his size and ability on his talk show. Cole then took Finn Balor to identify the new NXT Champion but lost to him. After the fight, the two showed signs of respect against each other.

Last week at NXT, Kyle O’Reilly of Undisputed Era won a number in the opponent’s Gauntlet Elimination match and will now challenge NXT Champion Finn Balor this Sunday at NXT TakeOver 31. This week in black and gold of WWE, the two had a face-to-face relationship with WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels as mediator. During the segment, HBK asked O’Reilly about whether there was any power struggle with the Undisputed Era member, which O’Reilly denied.

It is exciting to see what the future of The Undisputed Era is. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for more news and updates on the situation.
